MAG Hosts Fairy-Tale Night: Family Activities and Evening Openings From August 27–30

The MAG Museo Alto Garda is taking part in “Notte di Fiaba” with a Tarzan-themed programme running from 27 to 30 August 2026, including workshops for children, guided tours, night excursions and extended opening hours at the Rocca in Riva del Garda. Activities are scheduled for afternoons and evenings and are aimed at children, families and museum visitors.

From Thursday to Sunday at 14:30, the museum will host “Piccoli esploratori: mondi a confronto,” a 90-minute game-style journey for children aged 5 to 11 (up to 15 participants) in an air-conditioned room, costing €6 per child with free entry for accompanying adults. At 18:00, “Il gusto dell’arte” offers a guided visit to the Pinacoteca followed by a tasting of local products in collaboration with Agraria, priced at €10 and including entry, tour and sampling.

Evening events include “Il richiamo della Natura” on Thursday 27 August at 20:30, a night hike on the Brione along the Sentiero della Pace with naturalists and historians, using bat detectors and night-vision gear (€6). On Friday and Saturday at 20:30, “Piccoli esploratori” returns in a nighttime edition for the same age group (€6 per child). On Saturday 29 August at 11:00, the MAG will present the winner of the 12th “Notte di Fiaba” contest, alongside the illustrated volume published by Giunti; the Rocca will stay open until 22:00 from Thursday to Saturday and from 10:00 to 20:00 on Sunday 30 August, with booking required for all activities.
