Magasa: trekking and local products in the Tour of the Malghe
The Malga Tour in Magasa offers two unmissable events for hiking enthusiasts and lovers of local specialties, scheduled for Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, August 24. Organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the tourist office and the Terra tra i due laghi Forestry Consortium, the event features a walk through breathtaking landscapes and includes a tasting of local culinary specialties. Participants are encouraged to make reservations by noon on the Tuesday prior to their chosen date, as spots are limited.
The route, which lasts approximately three and a half hours with an elevation gain of 344 meters, begins in Magasa with a meeting point at 9:30 AM in the parking area at the entrance to the village. During the hike, accompanied by a qualified guide, participants will traverse enchanting locations such as the village of Cima Rest and the malghe of Alvezza and Denai. It is recommended to wear hiking boots and comfortable clothing, as well as to bring water in a backpack to make the most of the excursion.
