The Malatestiano Palace of Brescia was the focal point of the presentation of the book of the same name, which took place on Monday, the 26th, in the evocative setting of the loggia of the Government Palace. The work, edited by Maurizio Marinelli and Piero Raffele Galli, was published on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Italian Republic and provides an overview of the history of Brescia through the description of the historic spaces that today house the Prefecture and the Province. The Palace, also known as Broletto, stands in the heart of the historic center, having served as an institutional seat since the 13th century.
During the event, Prefect Andrea Polichetti emphasized the importance of the Palace for the Brescia community as a symbol of interaction among various levels of government. The presentation was also attended by the President of the Province, Emanuele Moraschini, and the Mayor, Laura Castelletti, while flutists Marta Brugnanelli and Linda Franzoni enriched the atmosphere with musical performances. This event not only celebrates an important historical building but also highlights the deep connection between the city and its cultural roots.
