Poste Italiane stands out for its commitment to women’s employment, with a significant presence of women in the postal offices of the province of Brescia, where 69% of employees are women and 40% of the offices are managed exclusively by female staff. Among them, Sonia Violi, the Director of the postal office in Malonno, stands out. She began her career at Poste in 2002 and has successfully advanced within the company to take on a strategic role. Sonia emphasizes the importance of the trust-based relationship established with customers, thanks to her direct knowledge of the local clientele and a strong spirit of collaboration among colleagues.
Moreover, Poste Italiane has received the “Top Employers” certification for the sixth consecutive year, recognizing its excellent human resource management policies, including the promotion of diversity and inclusion. To celebrate International Women’s Day, Poste Italiane will also present a philatelic postcard and a special cancellation from March 5 to 10, further highlighting its commitment to enhancing women’s employment and supporting gender policies.
