In Manerba del Garda, a joint operation by law enforcement led to the issuance of 16 fines of €250 each for unauthorized nudism at the Rocca, a location popular among naturists. The intervention, which took place on July 31, 2024, was coordinated by the local police, the Financial Police, and the Coast Guard, in response to reports of exhibitionist behavior in the nature reserve.
The regulations in place since 2005 explicitly prohibit nudism in the Rocca park and within the municipality of Manerba. Although the offenders identified were primarily foreign men or individuals from outside the province, no criminal charges have been filed this year, unlike in the past. Control operations will continue throughout the summer, also involving the Carabinieri.
