The Biblioteca di Manerba del Garda is launching a new cinema series titled Viaggio nella Settima Arte, curated by Mario Billi. The programme features three evening events, all starting at 20:30 at the Sala Consiliare, exploring different themes related to the world of film, with booking required for entry.
The first meeting, titled "Cinema e libertà", will take place on 24 September, focusing on the relationship between cinema and the concept of freedom. The second event, "Le donne nel cinema", is scheduled for 8 October, with an in-depth look at women in the film industry, including representations and stories of women behind and in front of the camera.
The cycle concludes on 22 October with the evening "Norma Jeane – Marilyn Monroe", dedicated to the iconic figure of cinema and exploring her life and career.
