Until July 6, the Archaeological Civic Museum of Valtenesi in Manerba is hosting the exhibition “Manerba Revealed: Images of a Rediscovered Past.” This exhibition features the drawings of Andrea Danesi, which illustrate the transformation of the landscape and urban settlement throughout history, from the Roman period to the early 18th century. Thanks to a collaboration between the Municipality of Manerba del Garda and the Historical Archaeological Association of the Riviera APS, it has been possible to accurately reconstruct the historical appearance of this territory.
In addition to the detailed illustrations, visitors can explore a historical narrative presented in comic form, also curated by Danesi. The museum, located along the road to the Rocca di Manerba, is open daily from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM, with closures on Tuesdays. The summer cultural initiatives continue after a season filled with exhibitions and lectures conducted by experts in the field.
