Marcell Jacobs’ seasonal debut postponed due to a minor injury. The Olympic champion has announced the postponement of his participation in the season’s first event in Miami, scheduled for this weekend. During a recent training session, Jacobs sustained an injury that forced him to limp at the end of his starting drills. In a video shared on his social media channels, the athlete from Desenzano explained the situation: “I was ready and excited to race in Miami: the 4×100 with my teammates from Jacksonville and then the 200,” he stated.
Jacobs reassured fans by saying that it is “nothing serious,” but he will need to undergo further examinations before he can return to the track. This setback marks a less than ideal start to the season for the athlete, who has been eagerly anticipating his return to competition after carefully planning his training regimen.
