Two massage centers in Riva del Garda have been the subject of an investigation conducted by the Carabinieri on behalf of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Rovereto, which has led to their closure. Located on Viale Trento and Via San Nazzaro, the establishments were ostensibly dedicated to wellness, but investigations revealed an alleged prostitution ring disguised as “personalized” treatments. The centers’ online promotions, characterized by ambiguous language and offers of services from “oriental experts,” raised suspicions among the authorities.
Extended opening hours and reports from residents further fueled the inquiries, culminating in the preventive seizure of the premises. The situation has highlighted a growing issue related to prostitution masked under legitimate forms of business activities in the area.
