Melacon Festival Brings Pop Culture to Lugagnano Mall This Week

Lugagnano di Sona’s La GrandeMela Shoppingland will host MELACON – POP CULTURE FESTIVAL from March 14 to 22, 2026, transforming the shopping center into a hub for contemporary pop culture. The event aims to attract diverse audiences with activities focused on comics, digital trends, and Asian cultures, including workshops, live performances, and collaborations with Japanese and Korean cultural associations.

The festival features a series of themed days, starting with a K-Pop Dance & Culture Day on March 14, which includes a national dance contest, calligraphy demonstrations, and meet-and-greets with K-Pop artists. The following day will showcase cosplay parades and contests, while from March 16 to 22, the venue will host retro gaming experiences, virtual reality activities, and arcade tournaments. This event marks the beginning of a year-long celebration of La GrandeMela’s 30th anniversary, emphasizing community engagement and new entertainment forms.
