Monica Consolini Cycles 30,000 Km to Lazise to Boost Blood Donation Campaign
After more than two years and 30,000 kilometers traveled by bicycle, Monica Consolini completed her journey in Lazise, where she was celebrated for her blood donation advocacy with FIDAS. She was greeted by local police on bicycles and escorted to the parish youth center.
The cyclist was welcomed by Mayor Damiano Bergamini, her mother Graziella, the municipal administration, parish priest Don Lanfranco Magrinelli, and friends. Consolini, who credited curiosity as her motivation, announced a brief rest before planning future trips to Mongolia and China.
