In recent days, Moniga has been affected by a series of blackouts that have impacted a large portion of the population. Starting from Saturday, February 8th, there have been repeated power fluctuations due to two separate failures in the electrical systems, as reported by E-Distribuzione, the company of the Enel group responsible for the medium and low voltage network. Technicians were promptly activated to address the situation, installing a generator to ensure temporary power supply after the first failure at the substation that feeds via Ghirardi and via Tre Santi.
The second failure, which occurred on Tuesday evening, February 11th, in the San Sivino area, further exacerbated the situation. In this case as well, the intervention of a generator was necessary, and it will remain operational for several days while technicians work to identify and permanently resolve the issue. E-Distribuzione has assured that the operations may cause temporary service disruptions and that notices will be posted to inform residents of the scheduled service interruptions in the coming days.
