Montichiari celebrates Albina Tosoni: a century of life and stories
Montichiari celebrates a local historical figure, Albina Tosoni, who has recently reached the milestone of 100 springs. Born on September 5, 1925, into a family of nine children, Albina devoted much of her life to her career as a hairdresser in Borgosotto, before moving with her husband Osvaldo to their current home on Via Felice Cavallotti. A widow since 2006, she is the mother of Valter and boasts a large family with two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter named Martina.
Despite the challenges posed by maculopathy that has left her visually impaired for the past twenty years, Albina retains excellent mental clarity and mobility. Today, she celebrated surrounded by her loved ones and local authorities, including Mayor Marco Togni and Councilor Guido Lanfranchi, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers to honor this significant achievement. Her passion for reading and traveling with her sisters has marked her life, as has her dedication to the religious community. What is the secret to her longevity? A wholesome diet and a love for family life.
