Montichiari Fair Launches February 23, Showcasing Agriculture and Livestock

The organizational machinery for the 73rd edition of the Montichiari National Agricultural and Livestock Fair is working at full speed to complete preparations for the event. The structure of the Centro Fiera del Garda is engaged in setting up spaces and services for exhibitors, who this year have chosen, in greater numbers than in the past, to showcase their activities and products at this event.

Date of Opening and Closing

The fair will be inaugurated on Friday, February 23, during the traditional weekly livestock and agricultural products market, and it will close on March 4.

Importance and Character of the Event

Within the landscape of industry exhibitions, this event marks the start of the season in Italy and confirms itself as a prominent preview for innovations and issues related to agriculture and livestock. The schedule of offerings this year is particularly dense.

Exhibition Program

Expected are bovine shows including the Brunette breed from Northern Italy (February 23-24-25), the Frisona breed from Northern Italy (March 2-3-4), the National Pig Show (February 23-24-25), the Interprovincial Rabbit Show (February 23 – March 4), and the Poultry Show (February 23 – March 4).

Wide spaces will also be dedicated to agricultural machinery and equipment, a key element of Brescia’s agriculture and a point of contact with the industrial sector, which is particularly active, especially in provinces that find their main exhibition reference at Montichiari fairgrounds.
