Montichiari Launches 25th Maggio Monteclarense Celebrating 20th Century Heritage
Montichiari’s 25th Maggio Monteclarense festival launches with a focus on the 20th century, marking its first inclusion alongside medieval and 19th-century themes. The event runs throughout May, featuring historical reenactments, cultural activities, music, and family-friendly events across public spaces, castles, and piazzas.
Key highlights include the return of the “Travel Through Time” series with medieval and 19th-century celebrations, as well as a new program dedicated to the 20th century from May 22-27. Activities include art exhibitions, a film screening, culinary events, and commemorations of the city’s cultural figures. The festival also celebrates the bicentennial of the local Banda “Carlo Inico” and concludes with a concert on June 2.
