Monza and Brianza Festa dell’Uva Celebrates Medieval Vine Heritage
Everything is ready in the hilly town to kick off, this evening, the 28th edition of the Festa dell’Uva (Grape Festival), the flagship event of the Monza and Brianza autumn season and beyond. It has always attracted thousands of visitors from neighboring provinces, drawn by the opportunity to taste good wine and enjoy the spectacle offered by costume parades and the medieval market. In recent years, the event has reached a considerable number of visitors.
Thus, alongside the over 400 characters who will animate the historic center dressed in faithful reproductions of medieval attire, there will be naturalistic exhibitions, commercial displays, and, of course, lots of wine and different varieties of grapes to taste until Monday. The commitment of Pro Loco and Administrazione has also been rewarded by the cooperation of supra-municipal entities, recognizing the cultural value of the Festa dell’Uva.
Program of the evening
This evening, the four-day celebration will open with the lively free ‘folada’ and a grape homage to all attendees, alongside a well-stocked wine shop. Naturally, this will be complemented by a gastronomic stand and live music.
