Mori and West Access: Sustainable Mobility for the Future
An important step towards sustainable mobility was taken in Mori with the opening, on Tuesday, September 9, of the junction on State Road 240 leading to the village of Sano. This new west access is the result of works that involved widening the exit ramp and creating a cycling connection to the Garda cycle path. Although only the exit ramp has been opened for now, the access ramp remains closed until the completion of works on the municipal road, which has already been funded for a total of 1.1 million euros.
The intervention, which cost approximately 2.8 million euros and was carried out by the Consorzio Stabile Campostrini of Avio, faced delays due to issues related to the groundwater and adverse weather conditions. Mayor Nicola Mazzucchi emphasized the strategic importance of this junction for traffic entering and exiting Mori, while the president of the Vallagarina Community highlighted how this project will enhance road safety and promote more sustainable travel for the residents of Sano.
