A 20-year-old Moroccan man, identified as B.H., was expelled from Desenzano del Garda in recent days after being apprehended by the local police. The individual, who had already been subject to five expulsion orders and has an extensive criminal record that includes offenses such as breaking and entering, drug trafficking, and robbery, was found inside an illegally occupied property. His behavior raised concerns about public safety, prompting the Prefect of Brescia, Paolo Sartori, to order his transfer to the “Brunelleschi” Immigration Detention Center (CPR) in Turin.
This operation is part of a broader initiative aimed at combating petty crime in the area and restoring legality. According to the police headquarters, the expulsion of the young man is deemed essential for ensuring the safety of citizens and reinforcing the sense of legality in the region. “The goal is to maintain the highest possible level of legality in our Province,” Sartori stated, emphasizing the commitment of the institutions to address issues related to public safety.
