Mosaico Scienze 2001 Planning Advances, Piero Angela Likely Attendee
September is still far off, but the organization of events for the scope and scale of “Mosaico Scienze” requires extensive and careful planning: various committees involved have been working for some time, and everything seems to be progressing smoothly.
Here are the latest updates available. It is a fact that many points are already settled, such as the operation in which fifteen agritourism companies in the area, following a specific meeting in Medole some time ago, agreed on a «typical menu» at a fixed price, around 35,000 lire including wines, to be offered during the event.
Projects and Meetings
Projects for various supplementary events related to the scientific activities, proposed by the municipalities and local volunteer organizations, have been received at the Tourist Association’s headquarters. These projects have already been reviewed by the appropriate commission, which is sending responses to the interested parties, and shortly after Easter, it will schedule a meeting with them.
However, the most important piece of news that has leaked out, though not yet confirmed, is the meeting between Piero Angela and the local school children. The well-known television science communicator might therefore be one of the prominent personalities invited to Mosaico Scienze 2001.
From what is heard, however, there is much more on the agenda, and additional details will be known, as mentioned, after the Easter holidays, following the meeting with organizers of the supplementary events.
