The carabinieri of the Riva del Garda Company are involved in the search for a 56-year-old woman and her 19-year-old son, who went missing after spending a day at the lake. The family, Ukrainian refugees living in Vallarsa, did not return to their home near Rovereto on the evening of July 16, 2024. The husband, concerned about their failure to return, alerted the authorities.
The search operations are focusing on the Punta Lido area on Lake Garda, thanks to investigations into the missing individuals’ cell phones. Specialized teams are scouring the area both in the water and along the shores in an attempt to find any traces of the mother and son.
