Castel Goffredo experienced a tragic motorcycle accident at dawn, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man. The incident occurred along Via Cattarobbio, a secondary road connecting Castel Goffredo to Ceresara, where Massimiliano Capra, a local resident, lost his life. A passerby discovered the man’s body trapped under the motorcycle around 7:30 AM and promptly alerted emergency services. According to initial reports, Capra reportedly lost control of the vehicle during a turn, veering off the road and crashing into the adjacent fields.
Emergency responders included an ambulance from the Soccorso Azzurro, a medical vehicle, the Fire Brigade of Castiglione delle Stiviere, and the Mantova Traffic Police, who conducted the necessary investigations at the scene. Unfortunately, despite immediate rescue efforts, there was nothing that could be done for the motorcyclist, who succumbed to his injuries at the site of the accident. Authorities are currently investigating to further clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
