Motorcycle accident in Lonato: parents’ appeal for witnesses
The tragedy in Lonato has deeply affected the local community, as the parents of Matteo Tobanelli, a 16-year-old boy who died in a motorcycle accident last Thursday, have issued an appeal to find witnesses. The family of the young man, who passed away just a few steps from his home while riding his Yamaha R125 on the road leading to Barcuzzi, is seeking clarification regarding the circumstances of the incident. They shared a message on social media, expressing their despair and desire to understand what really happened: “He did not collide head-on nor rear-end anyone, and the motorcycle remained almost intact.”
Investigations conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office in Brescia and the Traffic Police in Desenzano have already led to a preliminary conclusion about the incident. It is suggested that Matteo may have fallen during an overtaking maneuver, hitting a nearby vehicle after a sudden swerve. Despite the severe injuries he sustained, the boy was able to donate his organs, demonstrating his generosity. However, the family continues to seek answers and has expressed their intention to reach out to law enforcement again in the hope of obtaining further information about the tragic event.
