A motorcycle accident involving a 68-year-old man occurred yesterday afternoon while he was traveling along the Gardesana. The incident took place around 2:30 PM when the motorcyclist felt unwell and, despite his difficulties, managed to pull over to the side of the road near the Grand Hotel Fasano. After collapsing on the ground, emergency services were immediately alerted.
The NUE 112 responded to the scene with an ambulance from the Garda volunteers and a medical car. Given the serious condition of the motorcyclist, air rescue from Verona was also requested. Medical personnel stabilized the 68-year-old at the scene before urgently transporting him to Gavardo hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.
