Motorcycle-car accident in Desenzano: 50-year-old seriously injured on SP11
A serious motorcycle-car accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Desenzano, along the SP11, in the area of San Martino. Around 3:00 PM, a 50-year-old motorcyclist riding a Triumph 900 collided with a mini SUV driven by a 45-year-old woman. The impact was violent and threw the rider onto the asphalt, causing severe injuries.
Immediately following the accident, emergency services were alerted: an ambulance from the Italian Red Cross in Rivoltella, along with a medical car and an air ambulance, responded to the scene. The 50-year-old was airlifted under a red code to the Civil Hospital of Brescia for necessary treatment. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was unharmed. The investigation to clarify the dynamics of the incident is being handled by the Local Police of Desenzano.
