On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the initiative “Experience a Mission with Us” took place on **Monte Maddalena**, an event organized by the **Cnsas – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps** to celebrate its 70th anniversary. About thirty technicians from the Valle Trompia and Valle Sabbia Stations participated in this open day dedicated to **mountain safety**. At an information booth, volunteers provided insights on safety practices and distributed gadgets, brochures, and children’s books.

During the event, three rescue intervention scenarios were simulated, managed by teams of volunteers who demonstrated the various phases of the operation, from the activation of the call to the arrival on site. A technician also explained how to use the GeoResQ app to send alerts to the Alpine Rescue. The importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation was emphasized by two medical personnel from Cnsas present at the booth. Approximately one hundred participants appreciated the opportunity to understand the challenges faced by rescuers in remote environments.
