Lazise: Trial for Murder of Marco Campagnari, Accused of Killing His Father Franco Marco Campagnari, 47, has been indicted for aggravated voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of his father Franco, 67, which occurred on July 12, 2024, at their home in Lazise. The incident erupted during a heated argument over the sale of the house; according to investigations, Campagnari grabbed a knife and repeatedly struck his father in the garage.
During the preliminary hearing at the Court of Verona, the judge accepted the prosecution’s request to proceed with the trial. A psychiatric evaluation conducted on Campagnari confirmed his mental capacity, making him fit to stand trial.
