Murder of Dolores Dori: social media threat videos in Lonato del Garda
New disturbing developments have emerged from the murder of Dolores Dori in Lonato del Garda, where the 44-year-old woman, of Sinti origin, was found severely injured outside the emergency room in Desenzano and later died in the hospital due to three gunshot wounds. The violent argument that preceded her murder took place within the local Roma camp. In recent days, the victim’s husband has posted a video on social media in which he brandishes a gun and threatens an unspecified interlocutor, stating, “If you have the patience to fight, I will destroy you.” Beside him is a young man, presumably their underage son, who allegedly witnessed the ambush. The investigation by the carabinieri has been complicated by these revelations. The dispute appears to have arisen from a marital rejection between two families linked to children aged 20 and 23. According to reports, the victim and her family had traveled from Veneto to discuss the situation or, as suggested in the video by the husband, to take the girl back: “Give me my daughter back, return her to me safe. If you don’t send her home, we will come to take her ourselves,” the man threatened. Investigators are currently gathering footage and testimonies at the Roma camp, which has been placed under seizure; at this time, the woman’s husband and the alleged father-in-law are untraceable.
