Mushroom picker rescue in Gardone Riviera

A **59-year-old** mushroom picker from Manerba was rescued on the night of Sunday, the 14th, in **Gardone Riviera**, after going missing in the woods of San Michele. The alert was raised in the evening when the man had not returned from a walk along the trail leading to Passo Spino and had sustained an injury that hindered his movement. The rescue operations were coordinated by the **Mountain Rescue**, with the participation of the Carabinieri from Salò, the Fire Brigade, and 118 emergency personnel, along with a helicopter from the Guardia di Finanza.

Thanks to smartphone geolocation, the man was located around 11 PM and was rescued shortly after 2 AM. Fortunately, his health condition was reported to be good. This incident highlights the importance of safety during forest excursions and the effectiveness of rescue operations in the area.
