An accident in Nago-Torbole occurred yesterday afternoon, Friday, August 29, along the state road 240, near the San Giovanni Pass. Two cars were involved in a head-on collision that resulted in injuries to five people, including a 4-year-old child, a 13-year-old boy, and two women aged 43 and 56. The most serious conditions involve the young boy and the 56-year-old woman, both of whom were urgently transported to the hospital in Rovereto under code red.
Firefighters from Riva del Garda, medical personnel from 118, and law enforcement quickly responded to the scene of the accident. To ensure safety during the road rescue operations and the removal of the vehicles involved, the road was closed in both directions. The incident has raised concerns within the local community, while investigations into the causes of the accident are still ongoing.
