Nautical accident in the Gulf of Maderno: young man hospitalized in Trento
A boating accident involving a 19-year-old German man occurred yesterday afternoon, resulting in serious injuries when he struck the propeller of the boat from which he had jumped into the waters of the Gulf of Maderno. The young man, born in 2006, suffered a partial amputation of his foot and was immediately transported to the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento thanks to the intervention of the air ambulance.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident to determine whether the young man jumped while the vessel was still in motion. The Coast Guard, local police, and Garda volunteers were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and ensure safety in the area.
