A vessel experienced a malfunction last night, Monday, June 30, off the coast of Sirmione, leading to a maritime emergency that required the intervention of the Fire Brigade. It was around 9:30 PM when the Nautical Team from the Salò Detachment, part of the Provincial Command of Brescia, was alerted to rescue two individuals on board the drifting boat. Weather conditions were rapidly deteriorating, with strong winds and rough waves, creating a potentially dangerous situation for the passengers.
Thanks to the promptness of the responders, the vessel was reached, and the two occupants were brought to safety without sustaining physical injuries, although they experienced a moment of great anxiety. The boat was subsequently towed to the port of Desenzano, where the emergency interventions were concluded.
