Navigarda Ferry Service for Commuters: Schedules, Fares, and Subscriptions

While not as convenient as your own car, the Navigarda ferry service during this emergency period is providing an excellent service for commuters traveling between Riva and Limone.

Ferry schedules and fares

The schedules until Sunday, February 4, announced by the management, cover the entire day from 5:25 am (departure from Riva) and 6:05 am (departure from Limone) until late at night (last departure from Riva at 11:30 pm; last from Limone at 12:10 am) with a frequency of one trip every 40 minutes during peak hours.

Regarding tickets, the full fare per person is 9,000 lire for a one-way and return trip, but costs are significantly reduced with monthly subscriptions, so that the same journey costs a commuter just 1,800 lire.

Vehicle transportation and subscriptions

Transporting vehicles is naturally more expensive: the fare for cars up to 3.50 meters, the most common category, is 10,400 lire including the driver; the monthly subscription for the same category of vehicles costs 260,000 lire, equivalent to 8,666 lire for a round trip.

Additionally, with the subscription, it is possible to transit freely throughout the entire day.
