Nespresso Expands Capsule Collection Across All 15 Municipalities in the Garda Area

Nespresso is expanding its capsule recycling program in partnership with Garda Uno, adding 12 new collection centers across 15 municipalities in the Brescia area, effective January 1, 2026. This initiative, part of the “Da Chicco a Chicco” project, aims to increase the collection and recycling of aluminum capsules, bringing the total number of regional collection points to 80, including 26 Nespresso boutiques.

The new centers supplement existing facilities in Brescia, with the program now handling over 660 tons of capsules from January to October 2025. Recycled capsules are processed to recover aluminum for manufacturing and coffee grounds for composting, contributing to regional sustainability efforts involving local waste management partners and industry stakeholders.
