Montichiari: Announcement of the New Fire Station in Brescia. Mayor Marco Togni has confirmed that the new facility will be built alongside the center that will also house the Civil Protection and the White Cross. During a recent session in the Chamber, a resolution presented by Honorable Cristina Almici was approved, which is crucial for the project’s implementation in the region. Togni revealed that for almost a year, meetings have been held with Provincial Commander Eng. Luigi Giudice to advance the necessary procedures, which are now awaiting authorization from the Ministry of the Interior.
The land for the fire station has already been identified, and as the mayor emphasizes, his administration has secured a sponsorship of €1,100,000 from Mr. Luciano Pensante, owner of Ristora-Prontofood. The new station will operate 24/7 and will consist of approximately 35 “active” personnel, thereby ensuring continuous service to the local community.
