New Health Paths Open in Town’s Historic and Scenic Routes
Just a few weeks ago, two routes through the greenery and historic sites of the town were equipped with health paths: these are the Montagni promenade and the Lake promenade, each hosting 17 stations. “The project was included in our administrative program,” explains Gianantonio Fratuccello, council group leader of Lega Nord, “and its cost, which is around 30 million euros, was financed with the budget surplus from June of this year.”
Description of the routes
The Montagni promenade starts from the nursery schools and ends at Sette Ponti locality, with a series of ups and downs specifically created at the moment of inserting the stations. The Lake promenade runs from Cappuccini locality to Bergamini, in San Benedetto, and is more frequented by walking enthusiasts because it is illuminated and therefore usable also in the evening. “Both routes,” emphasizes Fratuccello, “are connected to the town’s historic center, which allows those in better shape and seeking a challenge to enjoy five consecutive kilometers of health path.” (g.b.)
