New Members Join the Groppello Valtènesi Brotherhood
The Confraternity of Groppello has welcomed four new members, enhancing its mission to promote and celebrate the culinary heritage of Valtènesi. The induction ceremony took place on December 19 at the Osteria Felter alle Rose in Salò, attended by prominent figures in the food and wine sector. The new confrères include Artur Vaso, a renowned sommelier and gastronomy educator; Diego Liberini, a butcher and wine producer known for his quality products; Giancarlo Fava, an expert in IT and communication; and Bruno Franzosi, a winemaker honored for his contributions to the Groppello wine.
Groppello wine, a symbol of the viticultural identity of the Brescia Riviera, is cultivated on just 400 hectares worldwide and boasts a tradition spanning over 750 years. Established in 1970, the Confraternity consists of 40 members and continues to organize events aimed at promoting local gastronomic culture and celebrating the uniqueness of this esteemed wine.
