The new Olive Oil Festival, titled “Olivum Bardolino,” was recently announced and will take place on the weekend of May 3rd and 4th. The event, organized by the Bardolino Top Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Bardolino, Aipo, and the Consortium for the Protection of Garda Dop Extra Virgin Olive Oil, aims to promote and sell extra virgin olive oil, a symbol of the local olive-growing tradition. The festival will kick off on Friday, May 2nd at 5 PM with the awards ceremony for the International Aipo d’Argento Olive Oil Competition 2025.
Throughout the weekend, from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to taste and purchase oil directly from producers along the Cornicello and Lenotti lakeside promenades. They will also be able to enjoy local dishes thanks to the support of De Gustibus, featuring specialties such as pike in sauce with polenta and Chiaretto Doc Classico. In Piazza del Porto, workshops and tastings led by industry experts will take place, making “Olivum Bardolino” an unmissable event for lovers of Garda cuisine.
