A one-way alternating traffic system has been implemented on the Gardesana Occidentale in the section near the border with Lombardy, due to construction work for the installation of cable ducts related to the development of functional unit 3.1 of the Garda Cycle Path, specifically in the area known as “Galleria delle Limniadi-Lombardy-Trentino border.” The municipality of Riva del Garda has announced that this regulation will remain in effect until February 21, with the exception of Saturdays and public holidays.
To ensure the safety of motorists, a mobile traffic light has been installed to regulate traffic, accompanied by a speed limit set at 40 kilometers per hour and a prohibition on overtaking. These measures have been adopted to facilitate the work while maintaining traffic flow in the affected area.
