Overdue Rental Car Recovered in Brescia During Southern Ring Road Checkpoint
During a routine patrol along Tangenziale Sud, Brescia’s Provincial Police stopped a small car driven by a 65-year-old former entrepreneur from the Bassa Brescia area, who showed immediate nervousness. The vehicle was uninsured and lacked the mandatory inspection, and further checks revealed it has been the subject of misappropriation since June after the failure to return a long-term rental contract with a Lazio-based agency that filed a report.
The officers notified the competent judicial authority and began procedures to return the vehicle to its rightful owner. The Provincial Police Command said that checks on provincial roads helped identify the crime and trigger the necessary administrative and judicial actions.
