Palazzo Lombardia Unveils Blue Jersey for 2026 Tour of the Alps

Italy’s national cycling team unveiled the new “Azzurra 2026” jersey at Palazzo Lombardia, featuring the slogan “Sicuri in bici” on the collar as part of a road safety campaign. The presentation included Federation President Cordiano Dagnoni, General Secretary Marcello Tolu, and team manager Elia Viviani, among others, and announced that the jersey will debut at the Tour of the Alps from April 20-24, starting in Innsbruck.

The event also highlighted the “Sicuri in Bici” project, developed in collaboration with Rai Pubblica Utilità, and an agreement with Joma for team apparel through 2028. Federation officials noted Italy’s strong cycling culture, with 21% of Italians expressing interest and Lombardy hosting 20% of affiliated clubs. The national team competes over 200 days annually and has secured more than 500 podium finishes in the past five years.
