Paolo Bissoli Re-elected President of Verona Confesercenti After Electoral Assembly

Paolo Bissoli has been re-elected unanimously as President of Confesercenti Verona during the recent Assembly at the organization’s new headquarters. The meeting also highlighted a 32.5% decline in local retail stores between 2012 and 2025, with 681 closures, and noted decreases of 30.3% in neighborhoods and 25.5% in the historic center.

The assembly appointed a new provincial leadership team, including Vice President Fabio Ferrari and category presidents Gianluca Luparelli, Simone Vesentini, and Paola Reppele. Marianna Cordioli was named Vice Director to support General Director Alessandro Torluccio. Strategic projects discussed include establishing a technological headquarters, coworking spaces for startups and foreign businesses during fairs, converting the old office into student housing, and developing a Confesercenti Partner network. During the event, awards recognizing business history and contributions were also presented.
