The Paper Museum of Toscolano Maderno, located in the historic Valle delle Cartiere, will be open during the Easter holidays on April 20 and 21, from 10 AM to 6 PM. On these days, visitors will have the opportunity to join guided tours scheduled at 11 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM. This museum serves as an important testament to the local paper-making tradition, having been established in the area where the last active paper mill operated until 1962.
Additionally, there is currently a solo exhibition by Albano Morandi titled “Rosa non è la Rosa,” which will be on display until June 15. The exhibition features works created on ancient documents using natural elements. Finally, the museum will host an eco-printing workshop for adults on Saturday, April 27, where participants will learn to create sheets using natural techniques.
