Tremosine: 60-Year-Old Paraglider Falls, Transported to Hospital On the afternoon of Sunday, April 6, a 60-year-old man was involved in an accident while paragliding over Lake Garda. For reasons that are still under investigation, he lost control of his wing and crashed in a rugged area within Tremosine. A red alert quickly activated rescue operations, with a helicopter dispatched to locate the incident.
The man was found near Malga Ciapa, close to the Tremalzo cave. Rescuers, descending from the aircraft, stabilized the injured individual and hoisted him aboard. Although his initial condition was deemed serious, he was transported to the Poliambulanza in Brescia under yellow alert, indicating that his life was not in danger.
