Partnership in Nightlife: Fura and Sesto Senso Host Major Event
An unusual choice: two nightclubs partnering for a major event. The first Dance Party, scheduled for Sunday, October 8th, will be a grand celebration featuring meticulously selected artistic offerings.
The program includes sophisticated disco music, presented by Silver, Michele Menini, and Joe Razak. The latter, a highly experienced DJ, will receive the recognition awarded by the Sesto Senso Club “Pantera della notte,” the first official lifetime achievement award… (see the following announcement)
The two venues that have united in this partnership, demonstrating the importance of collaboration among operators, are two highly complementary activities: Fura (theatre-disco-action) and Sesto Senso (a club with charm). On one side innovation and artistic technology, on the other history and extensive experience.
The whole promises a charming mix of innovations. A night sure to be full of surprises: Puccio Gallo (the boss of Sesto Senso) and Ottavio Ferri (the soul of Fura) will know how to blend past and future into a single container to offer the best to an increasingly demanding nightlife audience.
The Career and Sector Recognition in Italian Night-Clubbing
Night professionals deserve a reward, and so the “Pantera della notte” (Panther of the Night) award was born — the first recognition for nightclub industry workers who, with many years of passion, dedicate themselves to a profession that is not without satisfactions, but also challenges and discrimination.
“Pantera della notte” was conceived by Puccio Gallo, founder of the Sesto Senso Club and operator of nightclubs and entertainment venues since 1968. The initiative will be officially presented on Sunday, October 8th, at the Sesto Senso Club, during which the first “Pantera” will be awarded to Joe Razak, one of the first DJs to emerge in conjunction with the advent of Italian discotheques.
“This is a career achievement award,” – explains Puccio Gallo – “to an artist who has built their experience step by step, with unparalleled passion and a charismatic, engaging artistic drive.”
He describes Joe Razak, a DJ who worked alongside him at his venue (the Sesto Senso) uninterrupted for 15 years (from 1976 to 1991), and who today counts over 25 years of career.
During the “Pantera della notte” editions, organizers (including managers and recognized sector operators) specify, those who have distinguished themselves in various categories and marked a chapter in the large book of night entertainment with their professionalism will be awarded.
