Peak Lake Garda 42 2027 sells out in four days as all 5,000 bibs are assigned
Peak Lake Garda 42 2027 sold out in less than four days after registration opened, with all 5,000 bibs assigned for the LG42 marathon and LG21 half marathon. The sixth edition is scheduled for Sunday, 11 April 2027.
LG21 reached capacity in under 24 hours (2,500 bibs), followed three days later by the marathon’s 2,500 places selling out. Organisers also reported strong international interest, with runners registered from 73 countries, and a route across three upper-Garda municipalities with starts and finishes in different towns and roads closed to traffic, alongside a course that runs along the lake.
Among the already announced sailing entries is QFX, a Swiss boat skippered by Thomas Jundt, winner of the Trofeo Gargnano and line honours in the previous edition. Code X CROZ is also set to debut under Filip Jurišić, while Hans Spitzauer—world Finn champion and five-time Olympian—will be part of the Bayerischer Yacht Club crew. The event programme will be rounded out in the coming weeks with additional activities for runners, companions and families, plus entertainment throughout the weekend.
