Peak Lake Garda 42 at Limone Secures Italian Wins in Marathon and Half Marathon

The fifth edition of PEAK Lake Garda 42, featuring the LG42 marathon and LG21 half marathon, took place over the weekend starting April 10. Italian athletes Matteo Vecchietti and Sofia Toniolo won the full marathon, while Renato Silva Dos Santos José and Alessia Scaini secured victories in the half marathon.

The event, organized by Communico, sold out with 5,000 runners from 72 countries. Vecchietti finished the marathon in 2:36:20, and Toniolo in 3:00:17. In the half marathon, Scaini clocked 1:19:14, with Santos José completing the 21.097 km in 1:13:49. The event also included side activities like Oxyburn Trail Run, PEAK Morning Run, and Kids Run.
