A new incident of medical personnel assault occurred yesterday, Sunday, March 16, at the Alto Garda Hospital in Arco, where a nurse was attacked by a patient admitted for psychiatric issues. The incident took place in the Medicine department, where the patient lost control and struck the woman on her wrists. Fortunately, the injuries were not severe, thanks to the prompt intervention of law enforcement.
The authorities quickly apprehended the assailant, proceeding with his arrest. This event highlights the growing concern regarding the safety of healthcare staff in public facilities in the area, where similar incidents appear to be becoming increasingly frequent.
