Peschiera Bar Theft: Three Young Men Arrested

Three people were arrested for aggravated theft after breaking the window of a bar in Peschiera del Garda in the late hours of August 26 and stealing cash. The alarm was raised by a resident who heard loud noise and shouts, saw the three suspects leave on foot and split up to escape, and alerted the Carabinieri.

Carabinieri from the Radiomobile and the local station intercepted and stopped the group minutes later. During the search, one suspect was found with €1,400 in cash, which was traced back to the bar and returned to the owner. The arrested men are a 28-year-old Moroccan, a 26-year-old Moroccan, and a 21-year-old Algerian—each already known to law enforcement and without a fixed address in Italy. The Verona court validated the arrests and imposed a ban on staying in the municipality of Verona and its province, with the hearing postponed to next September.
