Peschiera del Garda Event Reveals Garda-Mincio Regulation System Works Results
The Garda-Mincio Regulation System event will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00 in Peschiera del Garda at the Centro Civico Gandini. Organized by AIPo in collaboration with the Garda Chiese, Territori del Mincio, and the Consorzio del Mincio di II grado, it will present the results of seven extraordinary maintenance interventions on the integrated Garda-Mincio regulation system, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU for a total of €20,085,000.
Invited speakers include Matteo Salvini, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, and Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region. The program, with opening at 10:00 and closing at 13:00, features institutional remarks and technical reports from AIPo, the involved consortia, and the MIT Directorate for Dams and Water Infrastructure, detailing PNRR‑funded works such as the Salionze dam at Ponti sul Mincio, the Pozzolo-Marengo node, the Pozzolo-Maglio discharge canal, the supports at Vasarone and Governolo, the Formigosa node, and the Mincio diversion canal.
