Peschiera del Garda recently hosted the **5th National Laughter Yoga Congress**, which concluded with great success, attracting over **200 participants** and **40 speakers**. The event, held from October 20 to 22, highlighted the importance of laughter as a complementary therapy for physical, mental, and social well-being. Over the three days, scientific research and practical applications were presented across various fields, from education to palliative care. A particularly anticipated announcement revealed that Peschiera del Garda will host the first **European Laughter Yoga Congress**, scheduled for October 30 to November 1, 2026, featuring the founders Madan Kataria and Madhuri. The congress also showcased the documented benefits of Laughter Yoga through numerous scientific studies. Testimonials from participants, such as Cristina, a woman with quadriplegia who regained strength and self-esteem through this practice, underscored the positive impact of the initiative.
